Key Account Manager (Distributors & Wholesale)

THE ROLE

Managing a portfolio of existing Distributors across the Healthcare, Janitorial and Retail sectors.

Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross sell to drive revenue growth and maximise sales across all categories including polymer and infection control.

Building relationships with Distributors, completing projects, and conducting training with Customer Services and Sales Teams.

Seeking and generating new Distributor and Wholesaler opportunities and implementing and onboarding new customers.

Describe product USPs, benefits, special offers and deliver expertise of GV Health services.

Manage the Amazon business.

In depth analysis and reporting on customer activity and sales trends, to spot gaps and maximise sales.

Documenting notes into a CRM system, including dates for follow up calls.

Organising face to face meetings with existing and new Distributors to secure new business and develop relationships.

Managing your own busy schedule and have a full day of sales focussed activities.

Achieving sales targets and KPI’s set by the Head of UK Sales which is a split between growing existing Distributors and onboarding new Distributors, Wholesalers, and Re-sellers.

 

About You

 

Experience in Healthcare sales, Account Management and New Business Development.

Experience in Infection Control/Prevention and PPE, particularly polymer products is highly advantageous.

Excellent communication and listening skills at all levels of an organisation. Competent to communicate at Senior Leadership Team meetings.

Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Understanding commercial sales – Driving sales through exclusive agreements.

Experience using a CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics in advantageous.

Enjoy working with customers and building relationships.

Perseverance and the ability to understand your customers’ needs.

Excellent knowledge about all the company’s products and services, with a high level of clinical knowledge.

To be well-organised and thorough, even under pressure.

Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload.

To be able to create good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

To be able to rapidly accumulate a comprehensive technical knowledge of our products and services – you will confidently and persuasively demonstrate an extensive awareness of the services and goods offered by GV Health.
