New Business Account Manager

Job Outline

The New Business Account Manager will be targeted with driving revenue growth across our largest Key Account, by selling the features and benefits of our wide portfolio of products and services. There will be an element of managing existing accounts as well as seeking new business opportunities, 70% new business and 30% account management. 

A typical working day involves a high volume of outbound communications via phone and email to upsell and cross sell our products and grow your account portfolio.  

  • You will discuss the USPs of our products and services and introduce promotional campaigns.  
  • You will be involved in booking Teams and face to face business meetings to further develop relationships and maximise sales.  
  • You will be comfortable selling ‘service’ based products such as training and consulting services.  
  • You will complete regular in-depth analysis and reports on customer activity and sales trends, to spot gaps and maximise sales.   
  • You will document information about each opportunity, customer, and account within our CRM system. 
  • You will track the performance of all leads from inception to closure and report on won and lost opportunities. 
  • You will be working towards sales targets and KPI’s set by the Head of UK Sales. 

About You

  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales.  
  • Excellent communication and listening skills at all levels of an organisation.  Competent to communicate at Senior Leadership Team (Executive Level) meetings. 
  • Have a winning instinct, to be better than your competitors, and relentless thirst for exceeding your goals. 
  • To enjoy working with customers and building relationships.  
  • A positive attitude. 
  • Flexibility and quick thinking. 
  • Perseverance and the ability to understand your customers’ needs. 
  • Excellent knowledge about all the company’s products and services, with a high level of clinical knowledge expected. 
  • To be well-organised and thorough, even under pressure. 
  • To enjoy working within a target-driven team environment, with a focus on delivering top and bottom-line objectives. 
  • Organised and self-motivated. 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload. 
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office/CRM (Dynamics) and willing to learn new skills.  
  • Networking skills – be able to create, develop, and preserve relationships with both clients and staff members and their respective communities.
