Who are the CHSA?
The leading association for manufacturers and distributors supplying cleaning and hygiene products in the UK. The CHSA’s mission is to support their members in ensuring they prosper and advance through maintaining and enhancing standards on quality, ethics and sustainability.
What does accreditation mean?
Our Polycare waste bags are compliant to the UN accreditation required by VCA and in accordance with ADR that is required for all industries within the healthcare market. The CHSA accreditation scheme for manufacturers of plastic-based products is a leading standard recognised industry wide. The CHSA certified mark is a familiar one to companies outside of healthcare and gives assurance of high-quality and sustainable products and compliance to stringent ethical standards. It also authenticates important product data such as the maximum volume and strength of our waste bags.
How will this benefit our customers, the wider community, and the environment?
GV Health will be working to introduce CHSA accreditation of waste bags to the healthcare market. Our membership will provide a forum to represent our customer’s values and needs across all industries. A collaborative network will achieve a greater understanding of hygiene and sustainability that will benefit human health and the environment we live in.
