SoChlor’s exceptional antimicrobial performance comes from its intelligent and powerful active, hypochlorous acid. SoChlor delivers hypochlorous acid in-situ from an inert precursor, NaDCC, making it more resistant to interference by dirt compared to conventional biocides.
Its smart, biomimetic technology means it emulates the activity of white blood cells in the body, providing the same antimicrobial activity when presented with pathogens.
Hypochlorous acid is 100x more antimicrobial than household bleach, meaning SoChlor is suitable for even high-level disinfection of more resistant pathogens like mycobacteria, non-enveloped viruses and spore-forming bacteria.

When NaDCC reacts with water, only a small portion of total hypochlorous acid is released.
Continued release of hypochlorous acid makes SoChlor more effective than all other disinfectants at destroying pathogens.
Its tablet format allows more product in a smaller, lightweight package, meaning larger amounts of product per delivery, reducing carbon footprint. With solutions prepared on-site when needed, waste is also significantly reduced.
