Product Overview
Designed for infection prevention and control across a range of environments, SoChlor TAB tablets contain sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC), which releases hypochlorous acid when dissolved in water. Pre-measured tablets simplify preparation and help teams achieve the required disinfectant concentration when used with the specified volume of water.
Hypochlorous acid is also produced by certain white blood cells as part of the body’s natural defence against pathogens. SoChlor’s NaDCC technology provides a reserve of available chlorine that replenishes hypochlorous acid as it is consumed, helping maintain disinfectant activity in the presence of organic matter.
Available in 0.5g, 1.7g and 2.5g tablet formats, SoChlor TAB provides disinfection against bacteria, mycobacteria, bacterial spores, fungi and viruses under the specified conditions of use. Always follow the recommended concentration and contact time for the intended application and target organism.
The compact tablet format reduces transport and storage requirements and the need for bulky liquid packaging. A five-year shelf life helps limit expired stock, while pre-measured dosing supports consistent preparation and helps reduce chemical overuse and waste.
