Bio
Duncan Holdsworth is the technical director at GV health, heading up their technical department. Duncan was originally responsible for creating GV Health’s technical department, hiring and training a team of exceptional talents and creating their laboratory facilities. GV Health’s technical department is responsible for R&D, technical support, quality assurance, quality control, regulatory compliance and sustainability.
Education & Experience
Duncan is a chemist with a degree in chemistry from the university of Bath and over 16 years of experience across the healthcare, abrasives, automotive and energy sectors. His strengths and enjoyment centre on creative approaches to chemical research and development. This has enabled Duncan to develop many novel, proprietary technology platforms which address some of the biggest challenges faced by the environmental hygiene sector. He enjoys engaging with customers, understanding their needs and generating solutions, involving all stages of development from ideation to research, prototyping, testing and scale-up. More recently, Duncan has provided industry level education around infection prevention and control through exhibitions, talks and publications, translating important scientific concepts to wider audiences.
