NHS Supply Chain Chlorine Tablet Rationalisation
Supporting healthcare providers through the national transition to SoChlor from 16 June 2026.
NHS Supply Chain has announced a new
Nationally Contracted Product (NCP) for chlorine, going live from 16 June 2026.
This national change is designed to reduce variation, improve supply resilience and support safer, more standardised
infection prevention practices.
As part of this transition, a number of existing chlorine products will be delisted, meaning many Trusts and healthcare providers will need to begin preparing to change product.
