NHS SC Chlorine Tablet rationalisation
NHS Supply Chain has announced a new Nationally Contracted Product (NCP) for chlorine, going live from 16th June 2026.
This national change is designed to reduce variation, improve supply resilience, and support safer, more standardised infection prevention practices. As part of this transition, a number of existing chlorine products will be delisted, meaning many Trusts & healthcare providers will need begin preparation to change product.

From the 16th June at the NHS SC distribution sites listed below, SoChlor will exclusively replace 18 other existing NaDCC Chlorine Tablet brands.

- SoChlor TAB 1.7g 200 – NHS SC code: MFB254
- SoChlor 1 L Diluter – NHS SC code: MFB257
- SoChlor Granules 500g – NHS SC code: MKO85596
